This Month in MK: Pushchairs in the Park

This Month in MK: Pushchairs in the Park

Get active with ‘Pushchairs in the Park’, a fun new way to exercise, meet new people and get some fresh air across various locations in Milton Keynes.

Pushchairs in the Park Milton Keynes

Keeping fit is probably at the bottom of your priorities, especially if you have a baby to look after. But being behind a pushchair doesn’t mean you can’t get out and about, and MK’s ‘Pushchairs in the Park’ event is designed to get you moving, whilst also enjoying the city’s incredible green space.

This month’s ‘Pushchairs in the Park’ will be taking place at 10:30am on Wednesday 31st January and will be at Stanton Low Park. This is one of Milton Keynes’ newest parks, with lovely views across the valley of the River Great Ouse and also features a children’s play area.

Join the class by meeting at the meeting point at Stanton Low Car Park (off Newport Road) to begin a 45-60 minute walk, where you can meet other parents from the local area.

All routes will be pushchair friendly or if you are carrying your baby in a sling / baby carrier, you are just as much welcome! Every walking session will be at a comfortable pace, so beginners will find it a good way to ease themselves into light exercise.

The next scheduled walking events after the 31st January are:

Tuesday 27th February 2018 at Caldecotte Lake (10:30am)
Monday 26th March 2018 at Ouzel Valley Park (10:30am)

Booking is not required but if you would like more information about the walks, email treetots@theparkstrust.com.
